This free Pikachu amigurumi pattern recreates the beloved Pokémon with pointed ears, red cheeks, zigzag tail and tiny embroidered details.

- Cheeks x2: red, 1.25 mm hook, MR, 6 sc, sl st. Leave a long tail for sewing.
- Back spots x2: brown, 11 ch, from second chain make 10 sc. Leave a long tail for sewing.
Tail and assembly
- Tail: yellow, 14 ch. Work an oval base of 28 stitches and continue rounds 2-9 with 28 sc.
- Rounds 10-15 shape the zigzag: skip the indicated stitches, add 9 ch where needed, and crochet around the chain openings.
- Join brown yarn from round 16, keep the angular shape, and close the final part after round 26. A plastic insert can be placed inside for firmness.
- Sew the body centered under the head. Place the hind legs symmetrically so Pikachu can stand.
- Sew the back spots with brown yarn, place the ears on top of the head, and embroider the small nose with thin black yarn.
- Sew eyes and cheeks symmetrically, add white highlights in the eyes, attach front legs under the head-body join, and sew the tail firmly to the back.
- Embroider the mouth with thin black yarn. Hide all ends inside the body.
